26882 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Trade and Investment: What cost pressures within their relevant portfolio Votes, if any, was the Minister informed of prior to Budget 2026 - listing any advice received on this by date and title?

Hon Todd McClay: For the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, I refer the Member to the response to WPQ 26800 (2026). For New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, I did not receive advice relating to cost pressures prior to Budget 2026. Invest New Zealand outlined its costs as part of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment’s 2025/26 Performance Plan data collection on 6 March 2026, which I was informed of prior to Budget 2026.
