26864 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Prime Minister: What rules or directives, if any, were sent to the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, regarding making bids for Budget 2026?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as Prime Minister I am the responsible minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, and Vote Minister for Prime Minister and Cabinet. The Budget 2026 invitation letters, and Budget 2026 templates and guidance outline this information. These will be released as part of the Budget 2026 proactive release.
