26844 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: What cost pressures within their relevant portfolio Votes, if any, was the Minister informed of prior to Budget 2026 - listing any advice received on this by date and title?

Hon Louise Upston: The Ministry of Social Development is required to report on cost pressures as part of the Government’s Performance Plan process. Performance Plans, including information about cost pressures, are under active consideration by Ministers and Cabinet https://www.dpmc.govt.nz/publications/co-24-4-performance-plans-requirements-and-expectations
