Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that information on Customs’ long-term financial position and cost pressures was provided through updates to its agency Performance Plan. Briefings on the Performance Plan provided prior to the commencement of the Budget 2026 process are listed below: • 26 September 2024 – RPT 24/148 New Zealand Customs Service – Draft Performance Plan • 31 October 2024 – RPT 24/171 New Zealand Customs Service Performance Plan – Final draft for Approval • 2 July 2025 – RPT 25/100 New Zealand Customs Service Performance Plan – Budget 2025 Update.
