26772 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Customs: What rules or directives, if any, were sent to the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, regarding making bids for Budget 2026?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that Customs received a copy of the invitation letter I received from the Minister of Finance outlining the initiatives I was invited to submit as part of Budget 2026. Customs was also provided with Treasury Circular CO (26) 02: Budget 2026 – Process Guidance and Timetable for Departments, which set out the process requirements and timelines for submitting Budget bids.
