26745 (2025). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Conservation: How much funding will be carried over, if any, in each of the Vote’s that the Minister has responsibility, if any, for from the 2024/25 year into the 2025/26 year and what for what reason or reasons will these funds be carried over?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Department of Conservation will carry forward $32.245 million to the 2025/26 year. This is the result of delays in the commencement and progress of projects or programmes that are beyond the Department’s control. The Department will also carry forward $21 million International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL) from 2024/25 to 2025/26 to rephase funding to align to project delivery timeframes that have been approved by IVL Ministers.
