26740 (2026). Ricardo Menéndez March to the Minister of Immigration: How many people, if any, were deported, self-deported, or voluntarily departed in the 2025/26 year?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that as of 7 June 2026 there were 1,263 people who were deported, self-deported or voluntarily departed from New Zealand in the 2025/2026 financial year. This number consists of 425 deportations, 432 self-deportations and 406 voluntary departures.
