26717 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: How many additional CT scans and MRI scans have been performed to date as a result of the new scanners, against the 32,000 and 6,800 a year projected in the announcement, broken down by hospital?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that an additional 32,000 CT scans and 6,800 MRI scans per year are projected once all 38 new machines are operational at the end of the three-year implementation period. I also refer the Member to Written Parliamentary Question 26704 (2026).
