Camilla Belich to the Minister of Statistics: What redundancy or restructuring costs, if any, have been incurred by any agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, listed by organisation, the number of positions disestablished, and the total cost of redundancy payments, as at 5 June 2026?

Hon Scott Simpson: I am advised by Stats NZ that since November 2023, 369 positions have been disestablished. There have been 180 redundancies at a total cost of $10,561,172.
