Camilla Belich to the Attorney-General: How many staff, if any, at any agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible, since 27 November 2023, have been made redundant, broken down by month and by (a) voluntary redundancy and (b) all other forms of redundancy; and of those, how many have subsequently been appointed to a new role at the same agency, broken down by employment status (contractor, consultant, permanent, part-time), as at 5 June 2026?

Hon Chris Bishop: Twelve staff have been made redundant in Crown Law since 27 November 2023. A breakdown by month has not been provided in order to protect the personal information of the staff concerned. None of these were subsequently re-appointed to new roles and none were due to voluntary redundancy. Three staff have been made redundant in the Parliamentary Counsel Office since 27 November 2023. Two in May 2024, one in June 2025. None of these were subsequently re-appointed to new roles and none were due to voluntary redundancy.
