26707 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Tertiary Education: Which agencies, departments, Crown entities, companies, or other organisations for which the Minister is responsible, if any, have been required to identify or deliver baseline savings or staffing reductions since 27 November 2023, and how much, if anything, has each delivered, broken down by organisation and year, as at 5 June 2026?

Hon Penny Simmonds: Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) contributed operating fiscal savings of 6% per annum or $14.9 million over four years effective from 1/7/2024 through Budget 2024. TEC contributed a further 5% or $2.900 million per annum of operating fiscal savings effective from 1/7/2025 for reprioritisation by the Minister of Vocational Education within Vote Tertiary. The staff reductions as a result were 25FTE and 22FTE respectively. TEC are required to contribute operating savings of $1.336m per annum or 2% of operating savings, effective from 1/7/2026 being contribution towards the Government's wider Budget 2026 strategy.
