26667 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: How much, if any, of the $65 million Diagnostic Improvement Programme has been spent to date, and on what?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that as of April 2026 the Diagnostic Improvement Programme has committed $59m (91%) of the $65m in FY25/26 and 100% of the funding in 26/27. I am further advised that $53m of the funds committed to date have been spent on uplifts in diagnostic activity.
