Camilla Belich to the Minister for Economic Growth: What redundancy or restructuring costs, if any, have been incurred by any agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, listed by organisation, the number of positions disestablished, and the total cost of redundancy payments, as at 5 June 2026?

Hon Nicola Willis: With regard to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE), I refer the member to my response to Written Parliamentary Question 9817 (2026) for costs during the period 1 July 2025 to 20 March 2026. The attached table provides information about redundancy costs between 21 March 2026 and 5 June 2026. Where numbers are <5, this has been indicated to protect the privacy of natural persons. Information relating to prior financial years can be found in MBIE's responses to its 2023/24 and 2024/25 Annual Review questions, at Questions 164 and 46 respectively. With regard to New Zealand Growth Capital Partners, I also refer the member to my response to Written Parliamentary Question 9817 (2026).
