26619 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Ethnic Communities: How many staff, if any, at any agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible, since 27 November 2023, have been made redundant, broken down by month and by (a) voluntary redundancy and (b) all other forms of redundancy; and of those, how many have subsequently been appointed to a new role at the same agency, broken down by employment status (contractor, consultant, permanent, part-time), as at 5 June 2026?
Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised by the Ministry for Ethnic Communities that: a) Since 27 November 2023, five staff have been made redundant by voluntary redundancy, two in April 2024 and three in May 2024. b) Since 27 November 2023, seven staff have been made redundant by all other forms of redundancy. One in May 2024, two in June 2024, one in July 2024, two in August 2024 and one in April 2025. None of the staff who were made redundant have been appointed to a new role within the Ministry.
