26614 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Economic Growth: Which agencies, departments, Crown entities, companies, or other organisations for which the Minister is responsible, if any, have been required to identify or deliver baseline savings or staffing reductions since 27 November 2023, and how much, if anything, has each delivered, broken down by organisation and year, as at 5 June 2026?
Hon Nicola Willis: With regard to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE), I refer the member to my response to Written Parliamentary Question 26626 (2026) for information regarding redundancies between 27 November 2023 and 5 June 2026. For further information in scope of your request can be found in MBIE's responses to its 2023/24 and 2024/25 Annual Review questions, Questions 14 and 45 respectively, and information due to be released by the Economic Development, Science and Innovation Select Committee at the conclusion of the Estimates process. As such I do not believe that the resources and staff time to conduct a separate collation exercise for the Member are in the public interest. Information for 2025/26 are set out in the Summary of Initiatives. Other information, where not still under active consideration, will be set out in the Budget proactive release in the usual way. I am advised that New Zealand Growth Capital Partners (NZGCP) has not been required to identify or deliver baseline savings or staff reductions since 27 November 2023. NZGCP only received a market development vote during this period of $750k per annum.
