Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Corrections: What initiatives, if any, have funding that will be carried over in each of the Vote’s that the Minister has responsibility for, if any, from the 2024/25 year into the 2025/26 year and what for what reason or reasons will these funds be carried over?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that Corrections reports on what funding will be carried over through the Annual Review and Estimates select committee processes. I am further advised that Corrections will be providing this information in response to question 15 in the upcoming estimates questionnaire which will be available in due course on Corrections’ website here: https://www.corrections.govt.nz/resources/strategic_reports/select_committees.
