26586 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Disability Issues: How many staff, if any, at any agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible, since 27 November 2023, have been made redundant, broken down by month and by (a) voluntary redundancy and (b) all other forms of redundancy; and of those, how many have subsequently been appointed to a new role at the same agency, broken down by employment status (contractor, consultant, permanent, part-time), as at 5 June 2026?
Hon Louise Upston: For Disability Support Services, I refer the Member to reply number 26535 (2026) The Ministry of Disabled People – Whaikaha undertook one change consultation process in 2024/25, during which some roles were disestablished. Four staff were made redundant with payments made in April 2025. No subsequent re-engagement of redundant staff has been recorded.
