Hon Priyanca Radhakrishnan to the Minister for the Environment: Does the Minister intend to “support wetland rehabilitation by eliminating resource consents to establish new wetlands by making the creation and maintenance of wetlands a permitted activity under the RMA” as outlined in the National Party’s ‘Blueprint for a Better Environment’ document, and if so, what advice, reports, briefings, aide memoires, or any other documents has the Minister, or any member of their Office commissioned on this by title and date?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I intend to progress the priorities outlined in the Speech from the Throne and the coalition agreements that are relevant to my portfolio. I will be receiving advice from officials in due course.
