Camilla Belich to the Minister of Revenue: How many staff, if any, at any agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible, since 27 November 2023, have been made redundant, broken down by month and by (a) voluntary redundancy and (b) all other forms of redundancy; and of those, how many have subsequently been appointed to a new role at the same agency, broken down by employment status (contractor, consultant, permanent, part-time), as at 5 June 2026?

Hon Simon Watts: Officials advise that a total of 70 staff members have been made redundant at Inland Revenue since 27 November 2023. None have subsequently been appointed to a new role at Inland Revenue. I refer the Member to the attached table for the count between a) voluntary redundancy and b) all other forms of redundancy, as at 5 June 2026.
