26492 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Māori Development: How many staff, if any, at any agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible, since 27 November 2023, have been made redundant, broken down by month and by (a) voluntary redundancy and (b) all other forms of redundancy; and of those, how many have subsequently been appointed to a new role at the same agency, broken down by employment status (contractor, consultant, permanent, part-time), as at 5 June 2026?
Hon Tama Potaka: I am advised by Te Puni Kōkiri that 43 staff concluded their employment with Te Puni Kōkiri by way of redundancy between 27 November 2023 and 5 June 2026. There were no voluntary redundancies during this period and none of the 43 staff have subsequently been appointed to a new role. The number of staff by month has been withheld to protect the privacy of individuals.
