26480 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Justice: How many staff, if any, at any agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible, since 27 November 2023, have been made redundant, broken down by month and by (a) voluntary redundancy and (b) all other forms of redundancy; and of those, how many have subsequently been appointed to a new role at the same agency, broken down by employment status (contractor, consultant, permanent, part-time), as at 5 June 2026?
Hon Paul Goldsmith: I am advised that since 27 November 2023, 68 staff have been made redundant at the Ministry of Justice (the Ministry). None of these were by voluntary redundancy.
I refer the Member to attachment 1 for the total redundancies for the Ministry and crown entities.
Of the Ministry staff made redundant, one was appointed to a new role as at 5 June 2026.
