Camilla Belich to the Minister of Housing: What redundancy or restructuring costs, if any, have been incurred by any agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, listed by organisation, the number of positions disestablished, and the total cost of redundancy payments, as at 5 June 2026?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that the number of positions disestablished between 27 November 2023 and 5 June 2026 was 1,702. The total cost of redundancy payments was $36,014,598. For information about the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development I refer the Member to my response to WPQ 26464 (2026).
