Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Internal Affairs: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies for which savings have been identified resulting from the Government’s directive to reduce expenditure in the public service, if any, how many roles have been identified for disestablishment, listed by role title, remuneration band, and business group (or equivalent organisational unit) as at 30 May 2024?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that, as at 30 May 2024, attached as Appendix A, the following positions in the National Library’s Indexing Team have been confirmed as disestablished. As at 30 May 2024, final decisions on the remaining organisational change proposals at the Department of Internal Affairs are yet to be confirmed.
