26423 (2023). Hon Julie Anne Genter to the Minister of Transport: Can the Minister provide an update on the funding allocated to the Supporting a Chatham Islands Replacement Ship to Enable Critical Transportation Services project as set out in Budget 2022?

Hon Simeon Brown: $8.8 million of Budget 2022 funding has been used to support maintenance and emergency repairs to the Southern Tiare. The Ministry of Transport is preparing advice to Joint Ministers - Finance, Internal Affairs and Transport on the remaining tagged contingency funding.
