26357 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Has Awanui Labs eligibility criteria for home visits changed in the past five financial years, including 25/26, if so what were the reasons and on what date?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that Awanui Labs completed a review of its home visit service in 2025. The purpose of the review was to ensure it was delivering its home visit services to patients that meet the eligibility criteria in response to an observed increase in requests for home visits for patients outside of the criteria. This was not a change in the eligibility criteria, but rather a reconfirmation of eligibility under the existing criteria.
