Mike Butterick: Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) has reached 12 confidential settlements between 7 November 2023 and 5 June 2026 (refer also to WPQ 26329 (2026)). All settlements included non-disclosure and confidentiality clauses. Outside these settlements, no non-disclosure agreements or confidentiality clauses were in place for staff, contractors, or office holders at LINZ during the period 7 November 2023 to 5 June 2026. LINZ is unable to provide the information broken down by year, as doing so may increase the risk of identifying individuals. This approach is consistent with Stats NZ confidentiality standards.
