Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Finance: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies for which savings have been identified resulting from the Government’s directive to reduce expenditure in the public service, if any, how many roles have been identified for disestablishment, listed by role title, remuneration band, and business group (or equivalent organisational unit) as at 30 May 2024?

Hon Nicola Willis: The Treasury has not identified any roles for disestablishment directly as part of savings initiatives. For the RBNZ, I refer the member to my answer to Written Question 24296 (2024).
