Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Finance: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies for which savings have been identified resulting from the Government’s directive to reduce expenditure in the public service, if any, what demographic data is being collected about the number of staff being made redundant, as at 30 May 2024?

Hon Nicola Willis: The Treasury has not proposed any redundancies as part of savings initiatives. For the RBNZ, I refer the member to my answer to Written Question 24296 (2024).
