26297 (2023). Hon Willie Jackson to the Minister for Media and Communications: What advice did she receive, if any, that suggested that Andrew Shaw should be sacked for breaching the Public Service Commission's Code of Conduct for Board Members?

Hon Melissa Lee: No advice was necessary. On 28 November 2023, Andrew Shaw sent notice of his resignation as a member of NZ On Air (Broadcasting Commission). Section 44 of the Crown Entities Act 2004 provides that a resignation is effective on receipt by the responsible Minister.
