Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Defence: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies for which savings have been identified resulting from the Government’s directive to reduce expenditure in the public service, if any, how many roles have been identified for disestablishment, listed by role title, remuneration band, and business group (or equivalent organisational unit) as at 30 May 2024?

Hon Judith Collins: As at 30 May 2024, no roles within the NZDF had been identified for disestablishment. With regard to the Ministry of Defence, the Member is referred to the response to question 24815 (2024).
