26282 (2023). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for the Public Service: Does the Minister intend to require all public service departments, Crown Entities and SOEs to “communicate in English except those specifically related to Māori” as found on 4 of the 2023 New Zealand First Party manifesto, and if so, what advice, reports, briefings, aide memoires, or any other documents has the Minister or any member of their Office commissioned on this by title and date?

Hon Nicola Willis: I am not responsible for a political party’s manifesto. I intend to progress the priorities outlined in the Speech from the Throne and the coalition agreements that are relevant to my portfolio. This is also my answer to written parliament questions 26289 and 26290.
