Hon Louise Upston: For Disability Support Services, I refer the Member to reply number 26151 (2026) For Ministry of Disabled People - Whaikaha, The Ministry of Disabled People – Whaikaha has not incurred, and has not projected, redundancy expenditure arising from Budget 2026 decisions as at 5 June 2026. Budget 2026 includes a 2% baseline reduction. The Ministry is assessing how this will be implemented across its work programme, including prioritising higher-impact work, adjusting sequencing, and identifying efficiencies. No restructuring is planned in the near future.
