26115 (2025). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Statistics: How many permanent staff, if any, will be employed within each of the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any, during 2025/26 financial year?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised by Stats NZ that workforce planning and the development of the internal budget for 2025/26 is currently underway. This will inform numbers of permanent staff for the 2025/26 financial year.
