26113 (2025). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Health: What new user charges, if any, were introduced by the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any, in 2024/25, and for each of these what is the total amount expected to be collected?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that the departments, agencies and ministries I am responsible for as Minister of Health report annually to the Health Committee on these matters, as part of our focus on putting patients first and ensuring that all New Zealanders have access to timely, quality healthcare. I do not consider it in the public interest to commit taxpayer-funded officials' time to preparing this information ahead of these publications.
