26094 (2025). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister for Economic Growth: What new user charges, if any, were introduced by the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any, in 2024/25, and for each of these what is the total amount expected to be collected?

Hon Nicola Willis: I am advised, with regard to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, that details of new user charges is available in the Supplementary Written Estimates Questions, Vote Business, Science and Innovation, 2024/25 Estimates Examination, Page 24, question 23, https://www.parliament.nz/resource/en-NZ/54SCEDSI_EVI_236e8217-9927-4284-6d42-08dc80ee0281_EDSI952/a4b380678baa07f6f1675b62279ebd05ff57d8fd. Only the Tourism and Hospitality portfolio had new user charges, with self-contained vehicle levy and certification authority fee April 2025 year-to-date revenue collected totalling $2.8 million.
