Hon Brooke van Velden: Department of Internal Affairs: I am advised by the Department of Internal Affairs that as at 5 June 2026, no decisions have been made, and no change processes have commenced in relation to Budget 2026 that would result in staff redundancies. As a result, no expenditure, actual or projected, on staff redundancies has been identified. Classification Office: I am advised that the Classification Office is not undertaking redundancies as part of savings arising from Budget 2026 decisions. Lotto New Zealand: I am advised that Lotto New Zealand is not undertaking redundancies as part of savings arising from Budget 2026 decisions. Fire and Emergency New Zealand: I am advised that Fire and Emergency New Zealand is not undertaking redundancies as part of savings arising from Budget 2026 decisions.
