26084 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Attorney-General: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies for which savings have been identified resulting from the Government’s directive to reduce expenditure in the public service, if any, what savings have been identified, as at 30 May 2024?
Hon Judith Collins: The Parliamentary Counsel Office has not identified any savings as a result of Government’s directive to reduce expenditure in the public service as at 30 May 2024. The Parliamentary Counsel Office will continue to ensure our expenditure meets the Government’s expectations of fiscal restraint and delivers value to the public. Regarding Crown Law, consistent with the Government's directive to reduce expenditure in the public service, Crown Law’s baseline will be reduced by $2m from next financial year 2024/25.
