26081 (2025). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Finance: What user charges, if any, will be collected by the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any, in 2025/26, and for each of these what is the total amount expected to be collected?

Hon Nicola Willis: For the Treasury, I direct the member to the response to the Examination of the Estimates Select Committee questions. For RBNZ, see ‘25785’ for further detail on the upcoming Depositor Compensation Scheme levies. ESAS In addition to question 25785 regarding new user charges there is an existing $3.65 per transaction fee which is also reviewed regularly. The estimated total transaction revenue is $14.7m for FY25/26. This is in addition to the fixed revenue described in question 25785 NZClear For FY25/26 NZClear is forecasting to receive $12.6m in revenue from NZClear users.
