26080 (2025). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Health: How many permanent staff, if any, will be employed within each of the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any, during 2025/26 financial year?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that the departments, agencies, and ministries that I am responsible for as Minister of Health report annually to the Health Select Committee on these matters, as part of our focus on putting patients first and ensuring that all New Zealanders have access to timely, quality healthcare. I do not consider it in the public interest to commit taxpayer-funded officials' time to preparing this information ahead of these publications.
