Camilla Belich to the Minister of Finance: What is the total expenditure, actual or projected, if any, on staff redundancies across all agencies, departments, Crown entities, companies, or other organisations for which the Minister is responsible arising from Budget 2026 decisions, broken down by agency, as at 5 June 2026?

Hon Nicola Willis: The Treasury is unable to estimate the expenditure for staff redundancies as a result of Budget 2026 decisions. The RBNZ are funded through a five-yearly funding agreement (FYFA) instead of through budget appropriations.
