Camilla Belich to the Minister of Finance: How many confidential settlement agreements, non-disclosure agreements or confidentiality clauses, if any, have been entered into with employees, former employees, contractors, or office holders by any agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, broken down by organisation, total cost, and year, as at 5 June 2026?

For the 2025/26 financial year to date, I refer the Member to the attached table. In addition, the Treasury has standard confidentiality wording in all its employment and other agreements. I also refer the Member to Written Parliamentary Question 26048 (2026) Confidentiality clauses are in the RBNZ’s standard employment contracts and contracting arrangements. In the event of any employment/contracting dispute any confidentiality obligations would be contained within the relevant settlement agreement, rather than a separate NDA. The RBNZ does not have NDAs in place for staff or contractors outside of these parameters. For the Government Superannuation Fund, none, no employees. For Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation, I refer the Member to the attached table. For the Natural Hazards Commission, I refer the Member to Written Parliamentary Question 26048.
