Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Social Investment: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies for which savings have been identified resulting from the Government’s directive to reduce expenditure in the public service, if any, what savings have been identified, as at 30 May 2024?

Hon Nicola Willis: The funding transferred from the Social Wellbeing Agency’s baseline to the new Social Investment Agency was reduced by 7.5 percent. However, additional financial allocation has also been set aside for the next four years to implement a social investment approach.
