Camilla Belich to the Minister of Agriculture: What is the total expenditure, actual or projected, if any, on staff redundancies across all agencies, departments, Crown entities, companies, or other organisations for which the Minister is responsible arising from Budget 2026 decisions, broken down by agency, as at 5 June 2026?

Hon Todd McClay: I am advised MPI has not made any decisions about changes to its operations as part of the Government’s public sector reform programme. That work will take place over the coming months however I have an expectation that front line services will not be affected as part of their consideration.
