Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Finance: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies for which savings have been identified resulting from the Government’s directive to reduce expenditure in the public service, if any, what savings have been identified, as at 30 May 2024?

Hon Nicola Willis: As outlined in the Summary of Initiatives, Treasury identified savings of $21.180 million in 2023/24 and a further $10.5 million per year from 2024/25.
