25967 (2025). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Prime Minister: How many permanent staff, if any, will be employed within each of the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any, during 2025/26 financial year?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: As Prime Minister, I am the Vote Minister for Vote Prime Minister and Cabinet and the responsible Minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The National Emergency Management Agency is a departmental agency hosted by DPMC. I am advised that officials are currently gathering the information sought as part of the 2025/26 Estimates Examination of Vote Prime Minister and Cabinet for the hearing of the Governance and Administration Committee scheduled in June 2025. Once the hearing has been completed the document will be available on the following website: Governance and Administration - New Zealand Parliament, I anticipate that the document will be available on 16 June 2025.
