Hon Erica Stanford: I have had the following communications with David Ferguson on this matter: - A phone call in early June to congratulate him on his appointment and advise that I would put out a press release - An email on 4 June in which he resigned from his positions as Teaching Council Chair and NZQA Board Member - An unplanned, informal encounter at the Ministry of Education during which I congratulated him in person on his appointment I refer the Member to my proactive released diary, available on the Beehive website.
