25932 (2025). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister for ACC: How many permanent staff, if any, were employed within each of the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any, during 2022/23 financial year?

Hon Scott Simpson: I am advised that in 2022/23 ACC employed 4,230 permanent staff. In 2023/24, this increased to 4,470. For 2024/25, there were 4,663 permanent staff, equivalent to 4,540 FTE. ACC indicates that, although it cannot predict the exact number of permanent staff, it expects the number to be approximately 4,600 for the 2025/26 financial year based on budgeted assumptions.
