25871 (2025). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister for Vocational Education: How many permanent staff, if any, were employed within each of the Minister’s responsible agencies, if any, during 2024/25 financial year?

Hon Penny Simmonds: 295 permanent staff (consisting of 290.4 full-time equivalent – FTE staff) were employed by the Tertiary Education Commission as of 27 May 2025. Additionally, there were 32 fixed term employees (31.5 FTE) employed and 14.7 FTE vacant roles. This is against 336.6 established FTE positions at the Tertiary Education Commission.
