Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Attorney-General: In the Minister’s departments, ministries and agencies for which savings have been identified, resulting from the Government’s directive to reduce expenditure in the public service, what percentage of employees who have lost or are set to lose their roles, as well as vacancies that will not be filled, if any, are located in the Southland Region, as at 30 May 2024?

Hon Judith Collins: No staff at the Parliamentary Counsel Office have been made redundant, and no vacant positions have been removed to meet a public sector saving initiative as at 30 May 2024. The Parliamentary Counsel Office does not have any employees in the Southland Region. This question is not applicable to Crown Law.
