Hon Paul Goldsmith: The Ministry for Pacific Peoples does not separately budget for or forecast artificial intelligence as a separate budget line. Costs associated with the use of Microsoft Copilot and related AI capabilities, including software licensing, staff training, implementation, and ongoing support, are met from within the Ministry’s existing ICT baseline and corporate capability funding.
